LIGHT SCARS (funded by the Richard and Siobhan Coward Foundation) is a 10X8 transparent film project about the photographic medium as an object and the boundaries between light painting and photography. An homage to the meaning of the word photography itself - drawing with light.
35mm film bits that were discarded during their developing process, photographed in 10x8 transparency film. The 35mm images are abstract - they are the traces of light sensitising the film in the process of loading and unloading film on an analogue camera.
