“Dereham Place - Trade" (graffiti site-specific), Shoreditch - London - 2018
Plug Drawings is a site-specific series that started back in 2012. I wanted to expose the sockets and plugs of places, make their drawing on the walls as big as their relevance to our lives.
The series started by exploring the local network connection – either Wi-Fi or mobile phones - and the drawings were at the beginning made out black insulating tape.
The work developed to encompass the site’s history and I also started using new material, like painting and chalk.
The series is a comment on our dependancy on electricity and the digital.
